Anti-Doping Program
The Moscow Marathon is committed to the principles of pure sport and strives to create a healthy and fair competitive environment for its participants.
Since 2017, the Moscow Marathon has been collaborating with the RUSADA Russian Anti-Doping Agency to demonstrate its commitment to fair, safe and doping-free competitions.
Anti-doping rules apply to all participants. Every athlete can be tested after the finish. The standard practice provides for selective testing of sportsmen taking prize places. Anti-doping rules violation will cause disqualification and other consequences established by the All-Russian Anti-Doping Rules.
In addition to testing athletes, the Moscow Marathon, together with RUSADA, is working on anti-doping education for amateurs.

- Do not park near cheer zones: this poses a risk to runners and fellow spectators, and may result in a fine. Use public transport, scooters, or bicycles to get around.
- Do not set up tents or arches on your own. Please, contact us if you want to install any structures.
- Do not use pyrotechnics, smoke bombs, or any items that could harm participants or others nearby. Instead, use cheering gear like rattles, clappers, whistles, pom-poms or any other fan gear.
- Do not hand out water or food to runners: official refreshment stations are available along the course.
- Do not enter the course: this disrupts the flow of the race. Only cross the route where permitted. Ask race staff for assistance.

Charity
Bolshe Chem Mozhesh Foundation

The official charity partner of the 2025 Moscow Marathon is Bolshe Chem Mozhesh Foundation.
Bolshe Chem Mozhesh is a charitable foundation supporting the development of inclusive sports. Since 2016, the foundation has helped people with disabilities lead active lifestyle and become amateur athletes regardless of their diagnoses. The foundation’s mission is to create an environment where people with disabilities can regularly engage in sports, develop motivation, and reshape how society views disability and potential. Most beneficiaries are individuals with cerebral palsy and other conditions that typically make sports inaccessible. Thanks to the support of volunteers, professional coaches, and rehabilitation specialists, participants who once couldn’t take a single step are now crossing finish lines at marathons and races. Inclusive training sessions – where people with and without disabilities train together – help foster closer connections and create shared experiences where none existed before.
You can contribute to advancing sports inclusion by visiting the special joint page of the Foundation and the Running Community.
